nougat share is a shame ... meaning that most of the devices sharing this number come from pixels and nexus ... and a few other flagships mean while 2015 flagships are growing as slow as a turtle step .... the percentage looks like a version ready to disappear than any other thing this shows how slow and the low interest shown by makers on having their devices updated.

At least...as in at most, since even Google has outed they won't support the Pixel for more than 2 years. Disgusting.

Android leaves almost all it's phones to their original versions without carrying them over to newer ones. If ever there is an update, it takes months, even years! If you want a new version, buy a new phone.

To get a good overall update levels across all devices will be a humongous task, like climbing Mt Everest, But possible, but someone (read google) will have to take on the onus of providing updates to devices who have reached end of update cycles. be it just a vanilla Android update.

Quite unfair of Samsung to always ignore the lower and middle range smartphones when it comes to providing software upgrades. They always have varied operating systems for their different product segments. Why can't they just adopt for a single OS for all their phones released during a single year....i.e., Nougat for complete of 2017. I still see some phones with Lollipop getting released. Its really unfair of them to tempt the customers to buy new phones every year for having the latest version of their OS
