I bought i7+ 256GB. I moved from android. I regret. This phone have limitations like nothing. Even lumias are far better. I regret buying. This is my first and last iPhone. You must have no brain to live with a iPhone. Commented with iPhone. :(

John, 04 May 2017Radio FM ... Useless ir remote... Useless are you too lazy... moreIt is possibly the most important thing for pro users (presentations)
Also not willing to get the remote is the opposite of making something useless. Technology is typically a series of upgrades.

So books are useful because they are easier to print than clay tablets, electronics tablets are useful because they are easier to carry than hundreds of books ... etc

So of IR's only use was to not have to own a million remotes then it would still be useful. Thankfully it's not just that.

BTW everybody killed it (as a feature) because they don't care about useful things, only things that sell. For example there is a physical limit that disallows instant charging, not even in a million years are we going to have instant charging, the universe does not support such a function, yet they still removed the only feature that gave that same effect to people (removable batt).

Why? Because they don't care how useful a feature is. They only care that removable batt kills future sales so they had to kill it despite being revolutionarily important (only way to get practically infinite battery to this day).

That's also why iphones will sell. They lack a lot of useful features, thankfully they do have others that other manufacturers don't (software support for years, instant computing since apps don't reload like in most androids, best SoC each generation). But ultimately they sell because of the apple logo in the back of the phone...

Imperator Neubaticus, 04 May 2017Iphones are inconvenient with compatibility issues plus you... moreGood for you you are happy with your Android. I'm happy with my Apple. For me in my experience it's very simple and smooth and never lagged at all, software performance is always amazing, no bloatware and unnecessary stuff, straight to the point: no confusing configurations and tweaking and stuff, helpful tech support and real-time updates, higher resell value, smooth synchronization with all my other Apple products, etc.

Albeit expensive, Apple is definitely worth it. The fact that Apple is very expensive but is still very much in-demand speaks volumes about the quality. Apple is just one company, one brand only, and very exclusive, and very small compared to massive Android. But you see, even if Android with all of its brands (including cheap China knock-off Android phones) gang together against Apple, Apple is still their biggest threat and competitor. Why? Because Apple is quality. Quality is always better than quantity.

And fyi, the technological advancements of oems have long since made those phones at par with iphones in terms of reliability and performance. They may not be as smooth or as fast, but honestly, millisecond differences are insignificant and in real world usage, i'd easily pick a heavy duty android that can work like a desktop for more than a day at a time over a smooth and fast yet simplistic and energy-inefficient ios device any day.

As an android user for the past 7 years I've been really happy with my iPhone 7 purchase. Everything about it oozes quality. It's one of the best phones I've had in many years.

It definitely would have had better reception if the prices were more competitive, however. Shame though, because they are a very solid and well built handset. The os, however, is in major need of a refresh.
