Disappointed, 07 May 2017The original Samsung j7 is too heavy, bad resolution, crappi... moreMate, did you just compare Samsung's low end range with an iphone?
To be fair, chances are the J7 is actually better; but that's not the point. How can you compare a $800 phone with a $200 one?
Not trying to insult here, but in all honesty; if that's how you compute in real life, maybe iphones are the best option for you x

Disappointed, 07 May 2017The original Samsung j7 is too heavy, bad resolution, crappi... moreIf you're switching to another class spending a fortune going instead with an iPhone then why not go all the way to the top and instead get a Galaxy S8 and even save a little.

J7(2016) is the last phone out there. It has FM Radio, replaceable battery, dual-sim, wonderful screen with an optimal resolution, and a physical button to answer calls.
I am 100% sure, the improved model will have increased resolution for larger memory consumption and a not replaceable battery to make customers happy.
In fact, they only had to re-release J7(2016) with a better camera and a tad faster CPU.

the spec is about 3gb ram / 16gb internal..
i'd rather pick a phone with 2gb ram / 32gb internal..even if the phone has microsd slot, bigger internal memory is much more useful for long term usage. im still using 2gb ram until now, well you can see reloading apps often compared to 3gb ram but with 32gb internal contains all apps and things that i need, no more memory full problem.
but of course if there is a 3gb/32gb option, it is a better deal.

Disappointed, 07 May 2017The original Samsung j7 is too heavy, bad resolution, crappi... moreThe Galaxy J7 costs only half as much. If you're going to spend that kind of money getting an iPhone you might as well go all the way and get a Galaxy S8 and still save a little.

16GB storage is pretty disappointing these days but not a big issue if it comes with a dedicated SD Card Slot along with two separate SIM slots.

The price is going to have to be good with Nokia and Motorola with decent design/specs.
The front facing camera looks decent but if Samsung do their normal higher than average price then they'll struggle. Want to see the J5 fully as well.
