Them to invent a time machine and go back to 20 years ago when the acquired shows were filmed? Technology wasn't available for HDR then so that's why its only the new show. Plus, a HDR capable camera certainly doesn't come cheap

I think it's a bit biased for the writer to omit the Sony when it's one of the best phones to be released this year. It doesn't matter that it's not out yet but it's been reviewed and mentioned here plenty a time. Not cool at all

AnonD-632062, 05 May 2017What about the XZ Premium? Isn't that also HDR compatible?Yes, it is HDR capable, even 4K support than the two other mentioned phones.
So far Amazon prime video will show its hdr content on Xperia XZ Premium.
I can see no point Netflix will not support this great phone.

Good for them. They have no good content for it anyway. Only lame and boring originals. 4k and hdr isn't something Netflix can brag about, since they only use it on originals and not movies.

                        What the heck is netflix?

AnonD-632062, 05 May 2017What about the XZ Premium? Isn't that also HDR compatible?Haha both right, it isn't completely out yet but at the same time yes it is definitely compatible as well.

Hdr on mobile? I prefer TV!! For me mobile phone is pretty much only for watching YouTube for a while. But not for movie or drama I stick to my laptop and TV for Hdr content.

Well said, and yes let's hope that it will be sooner than later.
