How... morenot every one prefer minimal bezels, at the end of the day, every phone has advantages, s7 edge is last year model and it's also advantage is curved edge screen which to me has no advantage for my usage ( A phone is like a car, every one has different requirements)
as a retro gamer ( i have 30 year brand new sealed game) over 6 generations, remote play on ps4 is a plus, but, playing emulators with ps4 dual shock 4 controller ( with simple plug and play) is ideal for me, i don't have to resort to dodgy/ineffective bluetooth keyboards/patches to enable a real tactile gaming controller to be compatible with my phone
Digital noise cancellation, even with air conditioning/air craft noise/train/bus noise, etc, you can listen to music in literally with quietness of noise cancellation ( without damaging your ears with high volume) , however, i do have an audiophile grade digital audio player nw-zx100 with SUPER MASSIVE BEZELS and no touch screen (only a 3" fwqhd low resolution screen), but it makes every phone ( apart from onkyo dp-cmx1) sound like a 80's portable cassette player
also sony xperia xz, xz premium and xzs has quality real metal alloy - called Alkaloid
what would be interesting is that samsung s8 is the first phone with high bitrate new wireless standard called bluetooth 5.0 ( no receivers /earphones have been released with this standard yet) , LG g5, v20 and g6 uses qualcomm aptx hd (only 4 earphones with this standard), while sony has ldac which has currently the most earphones compatible so far as you probably noted that i am a music lover thus, this high bit rate standard war is interesting for my interests (not bezels or the lack of it)

BTW ... The dual pixel of s7/s8 comes with the imx , not something created by Samsung.. Any phone with these sensors can have dual pixel.

You will not know that you can turn on/off the animations unless you research them on the internet.

Sony...need more and better manual options in camera, better camera in their phones - if they sell hardware to other companies....why they cant make same/better camera in smartphones ?! Looking at past always better photos were made by Samsung, Nokia, LG, sometimes even iPhone phones. And...where is Sony XZ Compact ?
