Even 500 or 1000 Rs ... moreman don't argue with that guy he is just a blind xiaomi fanboy from mi forums. since last year i saw him defending xiaomi as if they provide him his daily bread. in one post he would say apple and samsung copy designs from xiaomi. also according to him linux is a programming language. also in one post he recommends to buy zenfone 3 rather than one plus 3. on most xiaomi posts he lands up as their captain america and upvotes his own comments from different accounts. we need such people at gsmarena for our own entertainment. he thinks 1000 rs. extra is fine for the same device. i paid 1k extra for redmi note 4 too on ebay because i needed that urgently but my argument is why 2 different people will pay 2 different online prices. these sales practices lead a person to get hold of 40-50 stocks from flash sales over time and sell them at higher prices at ebay, olx. also due to this people buy xiaomi stuff from gearbest...etc and pay huge customs. i love xiaomi products but i hate flash sales. see how one plus ended their invite system and how people loved it i want same with xiaomi.

We talking about specifically flagships that dont enter the market in India. Not xiaomi smartphone as a whole neither xiaomi only. We talking about all the brands. You just assumed I talked about Xiaomi only. Btw, I said maybe. I dont make up facts. The entire sentences in my previous post is attached to 'maybe', even the last sentence. Dont just assumed someone's else sentences however you like. Xiaomi being late due to capacity is one of the reason. What about other brand? So, what the reason for some Galaxy Note devices or LG V series not entering India? I dont see flagship like Mi Note 2 or Mi Mix either in India. OEMs think Indian cant afford 'real flagship'? Like you said, Made in India supposedly reduces taxes for OEMs so those flagship should be able to enter India and be affordable enough for Indian. But, you dont see that happening. Why?

Make up your mind and dont make up facts.
Most of the smartphones sold in india are made in china.
made in india will only reduce taxes for the OEMs and its not like the govt. is forcing anyone to adopt it. They have just given a second option.
The reason xiaomi releases products late in india is that they are a relatively small OEM and thus they dont begin their production with tens of millions of units like apple and samsung.
So whatever their capacity is will be first utilised to complete the orders in their home country coz that is their primary market and where they make most of their money.

But then they never release "real" flagship phones here like the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Mi Mix. Only in China and southeast asia like the philippines (which where my colleague bought his), vietnam, indonesia etc. And we're stuck here with what? Redmi's and Mi flagships (like Samsung's S series but not the real flagship like the Note series or LG's G series but not the V series). Just because india is a 3rd world country, doesn't mean some of us can't afford real flagship phones.
