Dave, 09 Apr 2011Nokia take note of this. Android gives you sales.Nokia Take note of this, Bring us an Alternative to Android. If you go Android, you will fall into the forest of Android devices and none of these Android supporters will buy your phones because they've been converted by Samsung, HTC, LG and Motorola. Get rid of WP7 and go full force on Meego!!! Then you will see Huge Profits!!!

AnonD-5793, 09 Apr 2011Headphone jack doesn't work, since one week old. Annoying. So true. I JUST sent back my 4th HD2 because the Headphone Jack stopped working. I'm on my 5th one now and if someone leaves me a voicemail, it doesn't give me any notification that it's there until I actually call my voicemail. Go HTC!?!

Bricked, 09 Apr 2011Joking aside, it is a worrying situation that is unfolding.... moreWell, 3D Androids are on its way. That's pretty innovative and might change and shake up the industry. It's not like tech went idle now that Android is steam rolling the competition.

Joking aside, it is a worrying situation that is unfolding. So many Android phones on the market, and little competition. And why not? It's easier just to make a handset and lump Google's OS onto it than make your own innovations.
If the mobile world comes to rely solely on Android, then it's very sad. The thing is, Google knew exactly what they were doing. They took the iOS model, and adapted it for multiple handsets and improved upon it.

Surprisingly, HTC sets in Singapore is chheeeap. Wonder why some comments mentioned HTC is expensive. Great price, great OS. Almost perfect phone. But HTC has been quiet on dual core phone, the recent line up of S series don't look good. Desire HD is still the best specs of all their line of phones. 768 RAM with over clocked 1.2 Ghz. It's even better than Xperia Arc. Don't forget, Gingerbread's coming.
HTC, please, time to get your act and release a dual core. Am sure you will win the race again!

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2011They should drop a little their phones prices, i think they... moreIt wont work that way. brand image is important. The price of a new product is part of the brand image.
then, the quality of the phone as well as the specs.
price wise, HTC do abit overpriced.
Their brand image has finally established. It's time that they consider your method. Reducing selling price with higher spec and maintain and get more buyer. more sales = more profit. win win situation.

As much I wouldn't want to say "I told you..."
But if only Nokia embraces Android, then Nokia might be reaping off big profits.
Imagine that, HTC's profits came from Android devices.

They should drop a little their phones prices, i think they push them more than they should...
They would win less money on each phone but they would sell more phones that way, its a win-win...
