They don't seem to have a problem. Oh, BTW... women on average have FAR smaller hands than men (in case you missed the point of my first sentence).

If anything, the phone is going to be too narrow. The new aspect ratio sucks, and the people touting it as somehow revolutionary are dumb as rocks. You're being duped...

"With a less tall aspect ratio, that size means the Note8 will be impossible to hold in one hand."

Speak for yourself and your girly hands. My meaty paws can't wait to get hold of this. Maybe hold and operate with one hand will be impossible, which is the case already with most phones that are 5.7" and larger.

geordie81, 15 May 2017why does it have to be ugly just becuse it uses a dual came... moreI don't think so. The S8 front can be accept the design but I prefer a square corner of the display and I don't like the round corners. When you turn the S8 to the back, it's totally ugly as a flagship with the wrong place the fingerprint button, this is a 2017 not 2007 and it is a new phone why the fingerprint design is so.... Inconvenience!

Ocean, 17 May 2017I think 5.8 like s8 is perfect for bezzleless display. mor... more that * 5.8'' * screen is not bigger it's just long , in reality it's 5.3'' equivalent in size (in 16:9) if we are talking about real screen estate .

I do not like the 18,5:9 display aspect ratio, hope it will be 16:9 or maximum 17:9

Maybe it will be same with S8 + but with less bezel on the downside.

mir, 16 May 2017Wait a minute. You're gonna get a device in which you don't... moreThe main features I need are the great camera, better S Pen - the upgrade I want after using the Note 3 for almost 4 years now. I have already experienced the Note7 for 45 days. Note7 needs to be charged late afternoon before I go home, and we all know that battery will eventually degrade and you are just forced to have it worked on.

Looks are not all that if the glass back just breaks from a drop. Sealed battery is limited as I have been using extended 10,000 mAh battery that gives me no worries for power.

Curved screen does not give any practical benefit and very prone to breakage on drops. Again, I have used the Note7, and have also used my wife's S7 Edge. It just look excitingly new at first, but that excitement wears out eventually when you know you will be paying close to $300 to replace a cracked screen.

When I think about Samsung flagship strategy to me it makes absolute sense Note line top managerial and biggest flagship and then the Galaxy S line two sizes + for those who like the big screen but the note line is too big and the classic S for those who like compact top specs smartphone.

I don't . that phone is too long that it looks like a remote controller with it's weird aspect ratio . S7 / Note7 had way better looks , despite featuring annoying physical home button and ancient capacitive keys at front ..
