I wish they would release it already, I have made up my mind and i want that phone. I really liked the feel of the now "old" Wildfire and this one is going to be even better. Goodbye to my Nokia 6700 classic, i should not have never bought it. HTC release the damn S already.

Too bad i already bought the old Wildfire. The price will apparently be very similar to what i paid for the old one. Only downside of the old one is really the screen which is very low res but still, once you get used to it, it's a great phone and i have no doubts that Wildfire S will also be a success. HTC is by far one of the best phone companies as far as i'm concerned. Period. They don't over do it on one end and forget about other stuff. Instead they offer a good blend of everything, features, build quality, service, support, selection of phones etc. I hope they'll keep up the same good work.

hotchocolate, 12 Apr 2011well..obviously wildfire series just for female or android ... moreYeah I would choose HTC Gratia over this Wildfire S. Eventho it has Android 2.2. It just looks so much better and it's solid like a tank. The price is also better. Around 60 euros less with about the same features. You can easily update it to have Android 2.3.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2011you're an idiot.
Try using an HTC then ure you're xperia... moreIsn't it really really really really obvious that a Sony rep would say that Sony phones are better than HTC? I mean... is that even an arguable point?
I'd have to agree though.. HTC screens are pretty bad..
But so are Sony's hardware lol.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2011i v got my xperia x10 for the same price month ago with gin... moreI think you're an IDIOT by choosing X10...I got lots of friends using it and none of them without complaing it.. It's been a while since x10 released as I recall the latest version of X10 should be 2.1...Unless you flash yourself but basically they don't even know what root is..not to mention flash their rom to 2.3 by their own...all I can see is sadness and desperate for waiting release date of 2.2..And now SE announce x10 be able to officially upgrade to 2.3 at middle of the year? come on...is this SE good services? without multi touch and 2.1 version is the main reason i didnt choose it but paid more bucks for my desire z

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2011i v got my xperia x10 for the same price month ago with gin... moreMay I remind you how crappy Sony's support is? They even cancelled every update past 2.1, which it took them a year to push out. HTC, on the other hand, are giving the Desire THREE major updates, besides all those smaller updates.
Get your facts right

I work in the industry and even the Sony Ericsson rep who i speak to agrees with me, the quality of the Sony Ericsson handsets (and features) doesn't touch HTC, let alone the reliability.
Now look at sales figures and see how many people across the world agree with me.

Hmm, was considering buying the Galaxy Pro to replace my Hero, but this seems a good option too.
