The BlackBerries keep leaking - it’s the Dakota (a.k.a. Bold Touch) and the Monza (GSM version of the Monaco) this time around. What leaked are sheets of each and every spec for both phones – there are no...

I dont know whether my comment will be deleted or not.,but this isnt comment about the BB phone's specification it is something awesome to purchaser in my coutry. Some of the cell phones' venders intended to behave of packing the old ones to sell as the price of new ones and it looks like a new ones anyway they did it,how could they do?Illegal? Exactly!!! but what they(venders)say is do exactly as I please.
Now it is still being stalemate in cellphone marketplace in this country, especially The hi-end mobile phone such as a BB and others.Who could solve these problems?Otherwise the number of new ones wouldn't be imported as it could be!?!
        Thank you so much.

          100% true statement.

I really get so sad when people leak these photos of BB devices. Whats the point; take a look at all BB devices created in the last 2 years they are all practically identical. They lack imagination in phone design. None of these devices is appealing in any way, remove BB messenger and this company is history.

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2011That was my reaction I think there has been some confusion ... moreSeems to me that RIM is floundering in the new wave of phone innovation. I'm a Blackberry user, but I have to admit that the functionality of the phones, while solid and widely used, isn't offering anything new. Other phone manufacturers are catching up in this respect, and have far surpassed them in the areas of design and innovation. Every time I see another news release or catch something leaked off the 'mill, I wonder what they're thinking and if they have some secret weapon in store to surprise us, because surely they can't think that their latest offerings will bring anything but lost footing in the marketplace. Come on RIM, show us something innovative and cutting edge or you're gonna lose me and thousands like me in the next couple months!

i will let my 22 yr old son know that i am apparently a kid!

when is a phone right for you? when it meets your requirements. Mine get met by my 9700 and I'm looking forward to the Bold Touch because it is the increased functionality I need.

to ther BB owners, enjoy your childhood while you can.

Blick, 11 Apr 2011Why is the Torch losing the sliding keyboard form factor? I... moreThat was my reaction I think there has been some confusion in model names here GSM? Earlier pictures of the excellent torch showed the new model to retain a full qwerty. However, the existing 9800 works well enough not to need any uplift in specs at all.

D79_, 12 Apr 2011BB's r just for kidsBB is for kids?! I dont know what world you live in pal, but BB phones are used by pretty every major corporation and also in various government sectors around the world. Iphone is a kids/teen device. As for the people complaining about the overall design, i agree that there isnt much change there. But why fix something if its not broken?! People dont buy BB phones for their looks, its the phones functionality that has provided RIM with a competitive advantage over other devices. Besides in terms of design, the iphone has made any major changes to its overall shape. Iphone 4 still has the same look as that of the 1st generation iphone with slight modifications.

No card slot for the Bold Touch is a major oversight and a deal breaker for me. The rest of the specs are good and anyways long overdue.

common still 1.2ghz.. dual core RIM, you guys have to adapt to competition, cause as soon as android or apple gets a way to have a bbm system thats actually works 100%, then blackberry will be out
