They have to sell it for less than G5 as it... moreWell many people love the design of the G6 and its military certifies so you almost dont have to put a case, and lg have improved in many areas like build quality, waterproofing, screen size...oh and it uses the snapdragon 821 wich is an improvement over the 820 of the g5.
All this and my more justify the higher price ofvthe g6.

LG Should Concentrate on Design & Marketing
No doubt, LG make good & durable cell with material
LG G1 Best looking phone ever as a time than G2, G3, G4,G5 G6 design worst now
best screen, best UI, Best Accessories , BAD Design, no any low cost Cell compare to other competitor

Still too much. They have to sell it for less than G5 as it's a worse phone.
Less wide screen thus more difficult to type in
Far less ergonomy now that they sealed the battery
Same general performance due to using 2016 hardware
Camera actually worse at some (many) things?
G5 can be found close to $300 these days.$480 for G6 is too much. It's foolish to prefer IIT over G5 especially if you wear a case on G5 fixing its ugliness.

It's actually kinda sad to see LG failing with such a durable and good phone, such great marketing potential has gone to waste...

For that low price, it is undoubtedly really worth it ("even if you already bought the S8 and you use it as a second phone"). Unfortunately I don't live in the US, haha.

I am not a fan, but... G3 and G4 were amazing and good looking phones. G5 and G6 are not bad, but compared to other brands, even less-popular ones, they look like step back when it comes to design.
My friend took Huawei Honor 8 rather than G6 FFS !!!

Seriously, I like how the price is dropping. It makes others to also drop their prices which builds up competition and that is always great for us users

With the trend of LG phones dropping price quickly, I'll wait till Christmas and pick it up for $300 new.
