Tizen is a baby when grow up will be the best OS for IoT and cross platform. The only bet is developers take it seriously and some time. Imagine an Tizen S8 with full support of apps. 5x better performance than android.

Tizen phones are pretty much useless, except calling and messaging.
One may purchase out of curiosity, but will regret forever.
All mainly because of worst app store. No latest versions of app, app not at par with android counterparts (whatsapp), most of them are mobile version of web on phone screen (youtube), performance wise also not good!
one may get better value in android segment for same.

- HD/FHD sAMOLED Screen
- 2GB of RAM
- Great or decent camera (like Z3)

cheap phones with almost no apps available...yeah, in Asia, Africa and Latin America may sell well, but it has no chance in USA or Europe

This is the OS that has been slammed as laughably insecure, more like an undergraduate project than a professional OS.
