This is a non-final design apparently, what we get in the summer may be different.

Arengium, 17 May 2017I've been a OnePlus fan since the OPO but haven't got the c... moreMadness. OnePlus fails to realize the competition are constantly adapting to market, permanently adjusting their pricing along the life-cycle. Key point to take is they'll arrive late. The S8 launched at a very unattractive price, but by the time OP5 reaches the market Samsung will have already adjusted the price at least once. Sooner rather than later, we'll have the same situation as we now have with the OP3T and the S7 -- they are priced just about the same, but the S7 actually has local shops that do support and was the award-winning flagship the OP3T was supposed to be fighting.

OP5 will have some appeal at launch, but that appeal will be short-lived only because OP fails to adjust to market.

A Snapdragon 835 equipped inside is already very good. Plus it is also a price u can find very less on phones with high end specs. Hey, look, if u guys have not enough money why don't get a chinese phone like Xiaomi which is much cheaper like Xiaomi Mi 6. If u guys cannot even afford Xiaomi, I am speechless

I don't think this is the final version because out of all the leaks we cannot see the implementation of ceramic back like the pixel phone. I hope it has the exact figure from the sketch.

The OnePlus's have always had a pretty good design, it's one of the primary reasons to get them. It's the full package. I would gladly go down on performance, there is no real use for it and the price is getting to high for what it's worth.

I would gladly take a phone with a Snapdragon 660 (if it's fast enough to take HDR+) and a Google Pixel sensor with a great design for less money. I'm even ready to ditch the AUX, wireless headsets are getting really cheap and really good, so I'm ready to take the jump.

And in general, I'm a huge fan of the "smooth rock" design most OEM's are going for.

I think the next step for high end performance phones is going to come when they can support a fully fledged desktop environment - which I am hoping to see here at Google I/O. At least a chromeOS desktop environment, that would be amazing, but for day to day phone stuff, I don't think 95% of users needs more than a chipset that can take HDR+ fotos instantly. And even that is pushing it. Getting all the day to day use cases right is way more important and useful than pure performance.

Oneplus 3T design far better than this design... corner edges looking very odd. Hope this is not final design.

AnonD-618398, 17 May 2017I'm warning you oneplus if you even think about jumping 450... moreLol at least it is better than having it at 850.

I own a OP3T and I can for a matter of fact state that this prototype is just a photoshopped 3T gunmetal with a elongated camera. The button placements antenna lines all matches my 3T.
So please don't make comments here thinking this is how OP5 looks

I always thought that the OnePlus community were enthusiasts and power users. What's the deal with those bezelless phones. Functionality > Design for me, that's for sure. I hope OP integrated some features that makes the phone stand out.

Someone Else, 17 May 2017There's a reason why OnePlus and any other company can't go... moreAnd also the fact that Sammy and LG wabt to keep this form as their new trademark doesn't help. If anyone ask for one batch of displays, you bet they'll price it at a crazy high price for this reason.

AnonD-612712, 17 May 2017Not having a bezel-less display is deal breaker for me, ow... moreYeah, recycling the 1+ 3T chassis and increasing the price tag as mentioned in this leak means suicide for OnePlus in my opinion.

The OnePlus 3T have about the same price as the S7 edge and the iPhone 7 in my country (don't know why tho. Maybe taxes and stuff). So, if the $650 pans out, does this mean the OnePlus 5 will be even more expensive than the Galaxy S8 and the iPhone 7 Plus? Woah.

I've been a OnePlus fan since the OPO but haven't got the chance to buy one. Almost bought the 3T but decided to wait for OnePlus 5. But if they sell the OnePlus 5 more than 550 dollars, well, I guess that's the end of it. I still hope they won't go above 500 tho.

Those antenna lines are horrible. Love OnePlus but not dem lines. Why can't people learn from Samsung and LG who manage without them or design them into the case nicely?

Mediocre battery life and good, but not amazing camera are the things that are dragging the previous model down. If these are addressed with the new model, I think 475-525 price range would still be great value with OP5.

I really like the aluminium build of the OP3 tho.

Another soap in the world of soap.
Good thing they don't follow the ultra slim bezel trend though.
