Another OnePlus 5 prototype: 3.5mm jack and antenna lines not visible

18 May 2017
OnePlus seems to be deciding between multiple designs, here's hoping it settles on one with a headphone jack.

Should I buy the G6, P10 or wait for this phone? The G6 has a great design but the CPU is so 2016. The P10 is cheaper and is powerful enough to be considered a flagship phone. The great thing about OnePlus is the pricing.

Armali, 18 May 2017not buying, goodbye oneplus, the headphone jack and expanda... moreAgreed. Another one of those Android manufacturers shooting themselves on the foot, I mean can't they understand that the only reason Apple gets away with headphone jack removal is cz of the cult like following they have ?
One plus doesn't have anything close to it. Let them realize the hard way, in fact this will make it easier to buy a phone from the few manufacturers that include a headphone jack. Or to go for a low spec phone and invest in a high end media player if all of them drop the headphone jack. Then those manufacturers can shove thier jackless flagships up their you know what haha... Looks like they expect us to
    1) Throw away our expensive high end wired headphones
    2) Buy new even more expensive wireless headphones
    3) Be satisfied with the craappy USB C / proprietary headphones / earphones they provide
4)Connect our expensive headphones to the jackless phones via an adapter and be satisfied with the sound from the crappy DAC inside the adapter while the better dac inside the phone is left unused
5)To not charge our phones while listening to music etc (Not all phones have wireless charging, not all markets in the world have wireless charger add ons, not everyone is going to or capable of buying wireless charging pads separately...

Those manufacturers are getting greedy again ........ 2010 - 2016 were the golden years of Android where the manufacturers actually cared about the customers. Looks like we are going back to the pre 2007 era where manufacturers did as they pleased , with proprietary ports , adapters etc.... So sad....:(

          The year is 2017.
Trump is president and a prototype of OnePlus 5 does not seem to have a 3.5mm jack.
John Connor, if you read this, you should have let us with the terminators.

Bottom-firing stereo speakers are the dumbest possible speaker placement idea. So no, one grill is a speaker, the other is a mic. It's purely a cosmetic symmetrical design.

I will not buy this phone if 3.5mm headphone jack is not there.

fake. looks like Iphone in 2nd image.

not buying, goodbye oneplus, the headphone jack and expandable storage are useful features that manufactures keep on removing for really weak illogical excuses, NOT BUYING don't care if all phones on the entire planet end up being with no removable battery no expandable storage no headphone jack, i'll live without a phone, i'll cut off my ears and hands before i buy such a phone, i decide what i need and want for my money not you

"it seems dubious that OnePlus will ignore its fans like that" -- yet their pricing tells another story: they ignore the product life-cycle (never revise pricing), have zero attempts of creating local service centers, yet insist in raising their pricing dangerously close to the established flagships which have all of above.

Even the self-interested move of dropping the silly invite system took a hard fought full-on war, why do you think this company (of all) would give a flying eff?
