The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 has made a quick appearance on Xiaomi's website and has since been pulled.

i said 4100mAh its old just becaz i compare this battery with before generation of this phone from xiaomi co not with the others co
xiaomi respect the customer
at least they can add 400mah to the battery & make it 4500mah

        Not a bad phone with the x25 & 3g ram. Comparable to a note 5 in ways. There's no need for 6g ram really. Comes at a cost to background processor use & negative effects on battery life keeping all those apps etc going. These were never that easy to find in the x25 higher end. Good solid phone with nice oled screen.

Here in Denmark out national payment system is going wireless and having a card or a wallet for that matter is becoming obsolete really fast.

              Yeah, definitely that price (€156) is not for the 4GB/128GB version, and not even of the 3GB/64GB variant. Okay, thankfully Xiaomi produce really great for money phones, but not to that level then. Probably for a 2GB model or so. And it will be interesting to see how the new SD660 will perform on/in the Redmi Pro 2.

                        Tell me ANY brand which make a mid-range phone (spec-wise) with more than 4100 mAh than Xiaomi and PRICED it similar to Xiaomi's phone!

                        Lenovo P2 is indeed mid-range phone, but price-wise, it's way above mi5/mi5s, which is STUPID in my opinion...
                        Why settle for less when u can get more at cheaper price?

                        BTW, it's ALMOST impossible for Xiaomi to give more than 4200mAh battery for Redmi series, cuz big battery advantage is the selling point of Mi Max series, so if Xiaomi indeed equipped Redmi series (Redmi, Note, or Pro) near Mi Max battery capacity, Redmi series market share will overlap with Mi Max and consequently overshadowed Mi Max market, and the worst result is Mi Max won't sell while Redmi series with more than 4200mAh battery will have over-demand, a scenario which is not preferable for Xiaomi.

                        About 6GB RAM & 128GB ROM, my question is,
                        WHY ALL OF U ASK FOR FLAGSHIP FEATURES WHEN ALL U ARE WILLING TO PAY ARE NO MORE THAN US$300?

                        Redmi series are targeted for budget-oriented buyers, it's more than enough to get 4GB RAM & 64 GB ROM with MicroSD slot for less than US$240, why asked for features which will increase its price tag? If u REALLY want 6GB RAM & 128GB ROM, just buy Mi series smartphone with BETTER hardware as well as better build quality than ANY Redmi!
