Just because a downloadable global firmware hasn't been released, doesn't mean Xiaomi hasn't made one for the Mi 6. They have. This seller is actually pretty good, I've recommended them several times to friends. But hey, believe what you want.

jrharbort, 23 May 2017It does mention it has the global rom already installed.Most importers put in some hacked up ROM with crapware installed since the default China ROM won't include Google Play. Xiaomi themselves have not put out the Global ROM for the Mi 6, so either you're going to trust that hacked up ROM from the importer, or use the China ROM.

Ceramic has a lot of benefits in a phone (resonance, EMF transparency, rigidity, weight) but it shatters much easier than Gorilla Glass.
So don't drop it...
