Life is easier on the iPhone for me. Period. Can't change that. If it's not for you then it's none of my business. And it's true everything I said all my Android friends are like that. I said it solely on my personal experience. In our community, iPhones are bullied. Those kids having Androids are the bullies. I'm just making it through the day in the mobile battle of this society. So I don't know why you keep on saying things like tolerating them. This is my life and you don't know what I'm going through, you don't know everything. I'm just so glad we're always strong. Apple is strong. You can't deny that.

What "old model pre-owned iphone mod... moreNot really. :) If there's anyone who's guilty it's those (not all) iphone users (there are many of them actually) who really are just trying so hard to afford it to keep up with the Joneses; yes, even if their monthly disposable income is less than half the price of the iphone and the money is better spent elsewhere. These wannabe's buy used/pre-owned iphones or buy an older outdated model, or buy carrier locked iphones with carrier subsidies, then flaunt their iphones over Android users thinking it gives them a license to be 'superior' beings and be considered 'rich' and 'privileged' just because they were able to own an iphone. :) Sorry if the truth hurts. In fairness though, a few, (about 15% probably), of iphone owners are truly rich. The rest are pretending to be rich that is why they try to bash android users as 'poor' even those who can afford to buy expensive unlocked phones as often as they want and just prefers android over the ios due to ios' horrid, limited customizability and limited flexibility as well as lack of user specific options (dual sim, sd card expansion, ir blaster, 4000 mAh or larger batteries, 6" or larger screens, etc.)

I wont argue any more, it seems you have way WAY rougher issues in real life than arguing on a digital forum. i hope you can get a car tho.

What "old model pre-owned iphone model bought on installment or bargain" ??? How desperate LOL. See, you said it yourself, it means iPhones are selling like crazy, old or new. Then again, I just said my opinion. You don't need to go defensive. I'm just stating Android facts based on my personal observations. It may be different in your case, but in my case, in my own comments, and for many others who switched to Apple, it is what it is.

Sometimes it is not only because of the iphone's inferior specs, functionality, customization and features (no dual sim, no sd card, horrid files transfer capability, etc.) Oftentimes, it's also because iphone owners like you tend to be really showy. You flaunt your old model pre-owned iphone model bought on installment or bargain, while at the same time, looking disparagingly at 'lesser mortals' who own android phones (even android models that are more expensive than your outdated model iphone bought on carrier subsidy). And of course, that usual, iphone fanatics superiority complex with claims like your iphone never lagging/crashing, getting viruses, etc.

This is true. Life is easier on iOS. Ever since I transferred, I never went back to Android. Android is just too much for me. Too much of everything actually. Too much customization, too much tinkering, too much lag, too much confusing navigation, too much battery drain, too much bloatware, too much slowness after a month, too much of everything. And as a fact, Android phones lose value so fast you'll regret buying one. Because after buying it in full, after a month its price is already cut in half. And there's a new model already. And as poor people (not everyone though, but most are) you have no choice but to stick with whatever Android phone your budget can get and claim it's the best phone ever and fight everything else specially Apple. Sorry not sorry.

Having both a 6s for work and a pixel XL as personal device, I find life much much easier with my pixel. It starts even before i pick up my phone. Here are few:
                            1. Lets say I have a missed call. The only way to know a call is by picking the 6s, whereas with my pixel the notification light blinks red inviting my immediate attention, isnt that really comfy?
                            2. Once I pickup the phone all the apps are spread over in 6s, even those i dont use often. I have about 140apps in pixel and I can choose what to have on my home screen, limiting to few. In 6s its an endless go around hunting for each one, unless you make a folder and stash them in.
                            3. For most of us whatsapp is an integral part of our messaging activity. Since ios has its own app, the support for whats app is not great. In android I can select multiple posts with just one single touch, whereas in ios there are multiple process involved.
                            4. With a widget like chronus, I've all the info i need on a single glance, the time, calendar events, alarm, missed callinfo, gmail, weather and even podcasts! Just a simple touch on any one of them would take me directly to the app, its like a swiss army knife. Can i ever do that in ios?
                            5. A simple event like setting an alram in pixel is cool, just tap on the visual alarm clock and touch the dials to get it set. with ios i have to literally scroll through the numbers!!
                            6. Nothing is comparable to google drive. With unlimited storage capacity all the photos I take are automatically saved in the cloud and I can even access in my work desktop! If the phone memory gets full I can delete all the photos with the comfortable knowledge that all is safe in drive. itunes is a real hassle.
                            7. All the services I use such as gmail, you tube, calendar, maps etc. are all google and integrates beautifully with pixel. In ios apple has purposefully hindered its full seamless function.
                            8. I can sideload apps that are not available in play store. For instance with Fildo I can listen to any band i want. From Pink floyd to wishboneash to black sabbath, I can download any song I want for my personal consumption. What else do we want guys?

This doesnt mean that iphone doesnt have any merits. They have traditionally excelled in camera and also in music and also in the app category, especially ios exclusive apps. As far as camera goes, now most of the flagship phones are equally good and some even surpasses. Regarding music, compared to pixel i feel ios could be better. Regarding apps, Since i dont make music or shoot films, iam not in need of any such high end apps. As a common man, for a daily living I find pixel more relevant and comfortable. As far security issue goes, google updates the security of pixel every month, unlike other android handsets.
I also admire the minimalistic design of apple. The colour combinations are simply great. I hate the white app drawer of pixel. However at the end of the day, Iam one who chooses functionality oaver aesthetic design as far as mobiles go!

Marorun, 23 May 2017Working in cellphone industry at B2B level for 10 years now... moreAbout the CPU and the cores, it doesn't matter if cores are bigger or not. My point was that all that multi core "shit" is pure PR and marketing to show off, but in real life ,as you agree, it doesn't matter and the real deal is the OS optimization and how it performs.

You are so wrong about security... 10 years of experience.. expected for more. Anyhow, Let's take 'Stagefright' as an example you gave. It's a "family" of security holes in a core library Android code. So to actually get rid of it you need a patch.. so no "Bitdefender" can help you out. BTW, are you aware that 'BitDefender' company was hacked? I wouldn't recommend them at all. Here, read the juicy part:
                                ..."
The Data Breach in BitDefender is incredibly embarrassing for the security firm, not because the company failed to prevent its customers data from hackers, but because the Security company failed to encrypt its customers’ most sensitive data."
                                ...
                                http://thehackernews.com/2015/07/bitdefender-hacked.html

                                :))))

You can maybe change your SMS/MMS application but you're still vulnerable.
Here where Apple has an upper hand. You are updated. So I will choose any day to get the latest version, minus a few features here and there, instead of having an outdated and unsecure device. I'm an user, I don't care about all the stuff you mentioned about reporting a bug to Apple, and even if half of it IS actually true.. who cares? I get immediate fix and update? Yes... moving on.

Don't even want to comment about G6 performing on par with iPhone 7. It hurts enough to read both names in one sentence. I will just put this here:

                                Galaxy S8 vs iPhone 6S

                                https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ajdZQc3q_8

                                Guess who won?

They are poor value for people who counts their money before spending on one.
