Even 2.3 is pointless for a dual core phone.
At the moment its only 3.0 that fully utilises a dual core processer and 3.0 is for tablets only.
We need to wait for ice-cream. That will fully utilise dual core processors.

Perfect phone. Good job, LG. This phone has spare power and features for next two years. And it's already available for a while.

Yeh samsung and htc have always done well with their android phones, software and hardware (for the most part anyway). LG shame launching with froyo, plus their ugly design and ui won't be able to compete well with other brands. Even se have got their phones launching with gingerbread.

This is very late for being "the first" dual-core, and they promised it would be updated almost immediately after launch! This is why I will buy Galaxy S2, the truly "first" dual-core with Android 2.3!

Overall this handset is amazing, the sound quality isn’t very good though earpiece and headphones. LG please release a fix for this quickly... besides this its no doubt one of the best phones of this year.
