Did you ever find how to achieve this functionality? I wanted to purchase one and phone Huawei South Africa. I was told the same thing by the person on the other side of the phone from Huawei. So based on that I made a purchase. Still waiting for delivery. Will have to wait for it to come and see if this is available. But can you let me know if you managed to find how to answer the phone without taking it out, from the watch.

It's website says I can answer call from the band but yet I didn't find such feature. It says in the website "Don’t miss any phone calls or messages,
answer / end phone calls and view messages without even taking out your smartphone".
Can some one help?

Only difference is ip68 water resistance compared to ip68 for the Huawei one

Xiaomi Band 2 is much better with more functions and with longer battery life.
To top it all off, it is also cheaper!
