      @Hackler
      Hello, yes I do have genuine SGS. I am on Froyo (i.e. 2.2) now, although it came with Eclair (or whatever it is called) 2.1. I have sent it back to Samsung to have it updated, and I think whenever they roll out Gingerbread for it, I'll have to do the same. Other minor issue which I didn't included was 'extremely sluggish' performance at times. I have own Samsung i900 (i.e. Omnia) for 3 years and it never missed a beat until I dropped it pretty badly and well you can guess what might have happened. In fact SGS is my first non-MS OS cell, and after reading several reviews before buying it made me think that it will be worthy replacement for Omnia, but unfortunately it just isn't. I have replaced the original TW Samsung put ontop on OS with 3rd party launcher which at least made the phone useable/less crash prone, but that is not the solution I wanted .... anyway long story short as soon MS updates WP7 later this year and 2nd generation WP7 phones start to appear, I am planning to get rid of this for good.

          I am a Nokia fan and have been since 98. I am currently using an Evo on Sprint and my husband is using the thunderbolt on Verizon. In my opinion I prefer my unlocked Nokia N8 and n900. The evo and the thunderbolt are not bad phones I prefer a phone with more options. Once you get pass the neat features it is nothing more than a iPhone clone with a better OS. I personally want all of the phone manufactures to be around because it would suck if we had to select from HTC and Apple only in the future. I have tried them all but I am always running back to Nokia. Nokia combines business and personal all in one for ME. People let us stop pushing our personal phone interest on others, let them decide what is best for them. For me my worries would be over if Nokia w7 is offered on cdma carriers. I love the new direction Nokia is going if they keep the productivity in their phones while offering new technology. If not I will be switching to blackberry and continue to support the meego project. I don't care if my phone is the best phone as long as I can use it for my personal and professional needs. Nokia please bring out the Nokia n950 and let it have the capability to run meego and wm7...I will be the first in line :)

                          The X8 should either have Qualcomm Dual Core and Adreno 220 or Qualcomm Quad Core and Adreno 320. Most probably it'll be the later with Adreno 320, Cause it is supposed to come out in early 2012

                                I have been using SGS i9000-GT for almost 6+ months now, and frankly, I'm not impressed with it. As someone already said Android's have great hardware but the OS experience is rubbish (to put it mildly). Some issues which I face with it, it just keep crashing whenever it feels like, it doesn't want to connect with any PC via USB (hence I can't update), the dialer would disappear for several seconds before reappearing ( I guess it has some sort of psychological crisis whenever I want to make a call), it restarts even when idling, sometimes it doesn't want to be turned on (if I have turned it off) ....... just a few issues with the set. Now the OS itself, Android isn't anything like iOS, but its interface feels like a cheap imitation of iOS (nothing genuine in other words). Hence, I believe SGS is my first and last droid. I have never owned a smartphone which gave me this much trouble, and I don't want to repeat the experience.

                                  With HTC, Samsung, LG, and Nokia with WP7 I don't doubt they'll be second most popular. Those four are among the TOP players in the mobile phone industry and they know how to sell phones. How can you doubt it?

                                  Nokia adds nice colours to their design, I think it will match WP7 very well.

                                    I own a NOKIA N85 and belive me: symbian is a piece of crap compared to Android or WINMO7 or IOS

                                    Yesterday i rooted the Samsung Galaxy S of a friend and put in DARKY'S ROM, and let me tell you something: that phone is FAST. And i mean FAST

                                    Makes nokia phones look like toys.

                                    Android phones HAVE THE BEST QUALITY/PRICE ratio.

                                    You don't have to belive me, just wait another 6-12 months.

                                        The X7 is the freshest looking phone to come out from any manufacturer in long time, certainly Nokia.
