Besides the usual Chinese-language input support, the local model also features things like a Yellow Pages service, custom camera stamps and a screen recorder.

TechLover1, 25 May 2017In a way I agree with you, but not because they are special... moreEven so, if they wanna compete in China for market share it doesnt mean they must offer the rest of the world sub par specs. They must compete in a way that others dont get neglected. They must offer superior specs across the board. This is why they struggle to update efficiently and effectively cause they have so many varients of the same damn phone.

AnonD-485191, 25 May 2017Chinese are so special. More RAM and more features. In a way I agree with you, but not because they are special or something like that. But just because mostly there is the biggest profit, etc.

Well, here is where idioms, sayings, etc. are applicable. Such as the bigger the better, the quantity takes over, etc. In other words, it's true that the Chinese are the favourites, but not because they are "Aryans" or something like that, but just for two main reasons, one because China is the most populated country in the entire globe, and two because all the main emerging competitive companies are Chinese: Huawei, OnePlus, Xiaomi, ZTE, Meizu, Lenovo + Moto, Oppo, Vivo, LeEco and so on. So that's why the top companies: Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony, etc. Treat the Chinese customers/market quite differently, because there is the most abundant profit, and that's why all these extra and more personalised features, the thing of the S8 6GB RAM variant, China exclusive, etc. But at least, on a positive note (to mention something small, but that we have more), among the disadvantages compared to the Chinese customers/market, one thing/feature that I prefer is that we have the option if to choose to use the app drawer or not, and I prefer with the app drawer! Haha.
