Samsung Galaxy S gets Gingerbread as promised

Guys just go to samfirmware.com and flash 2.3.3....u wont face any problems...m from pakistan and have just simply flashed gingerbread without any problems whatsoever....remember to hard reset after flashing

For those who have issues after Gingerbread update, I recommend the hard reset option, this because some android apps interfere with the latest OS such as Notification Bar or lag issues...SGS works noticably faster with Gingerbread then Froyo! Enjoy it! :)

Just updated to Gingerbread...had a Status Bar problem so had to hard reset but afterwards SGS working very smoothly...and yes, it is faster than Froyo, hands down! :)

pls help i cant update my SGS tru KIES it said "THIS VERSION OF DEVICE CANNOT BE UPDATED"
my firmware version: PDA:JP4 / PHONE:JP3 / CSC:JP4 (XSO)
