This phone is meant for professionals and government workers. I'm getting 3 day battery life on mine, and can't see myself using another phone.

I think that this will be the first on many new Blackberry partnered manufactured devices. As a former Blackberry user, the ultimate reason I left the platform were the lack of software applications. With Android that void is filled. With the keyboard, I would admit that the old physical keyboard on the Bold 9900 can't compare with the flexibility and added screen space of a virtual keyboard. Enter the capacitive sensors on the keyboard of the Keyone, integrated fingerprint scanner in the spacebar, program 52 keyboard shortcuts like holding F down for Facebook, Keyboard functions like Cltr-C and Cltr-V and all that was good about Blackberries in the past. When I was buying Blackberries in the past I never really focused on the processor in the phone, I cared about the performance in the real world. I'll be giving my iPhone 6 to my 9-year-old. I need a real smartphone phone thank you!

Been waiting for a flagship model for years...they keep coming out with other versions intended to fill this or that gap. Very frustrating, makes me wonder what is being said as they sit around the conference table discussing this issue.

You've got BB and Nokia trying to make a comeback.. Nokia with an ultra basic device that's well overpriced, and BB with a mediocre device that's well overpriced. Neither have chosen to release items with mass market appeal, but will likely sell as a novelty. The likes of Lenovo, and Huawei will stride on upwards and many more Chinese brands...

It's an awesome device. Three weeks of using it and I can't see myself using another phone.

So the all the Bold, Curve, Torch, and Storm models after that we were able to preorder. I know this because I preordered the Bold 9000, and I worked for Rogers shortly after I got that phone for a couple years.

The KeyOne will not only be a sales floor, it will likely be th nail in BB's coffin.

Umbrella, 27 May 2017"most pre-ordered BLACKBERRY PHONE," not "most pre-ordered ... moreWell yeah. BlackBerry seriously messed up the rollout of this phone. TCL was all ready to sell with their hardware, but BlackBerry, the "software" company delayed their Android distribution due to incompetence. A phone that was supposed to be out in April is now pushed back to June and even later for some markets.
So this is a phone that was announced in December, publicly revealed in January, and in various stages of development since 2014(!), the first physical QWERTY from BlackBerry since 2015, and their first new phone since last summer.
OF COURSE it is going to be the most pre-ordered BlackBerry phone. There is no other option for BlackBerry users, and they have been waiting for several months now.
More of the same. For a "software" company, BlackBerry is really, really, extremely amazingly inept.
Meanwhile, the "software" company still hasn't updated its phones to Nougat, which is pushing a year old. A "software" company, even if they are doing the most robust security hardening and testing in the history of Android, (here's a hint: they're not, the one-man CopperheadOS distribution does security hardening better than all of BlackBerry's third-world developers), could probably release roadmaps on what devices will receive software updates, how long they will be supported, etc. But BlackBerry is so incompetent that they *know* a public deadline for say, Nougat on Priv or DTEK, or saying they will provide support for two years, will be a hilariously missed deadline causing negative publicity.
The early reviews are in already .... the KeyOne, with its hardware keyboard, defaults to showing the on-screen touch keyboard out of the box. What a complete mess and lack of polish. It's time to move on. BlackBerry, by not communicating with their loyal customers, has proven that it has already moved on from you.
