Mine is an Exynos version, and only been updated to the April patch level. Still rocking my mine as a work phone. Nothing I own can beat it in wifi performance (getting ~50-55mbyte/s transfers), including my newer flagships. Being mostly plastic does have advantages.

Regardless of its design, it's one of the best phones until now due to its "REMOVABLE BATTERY" feature! Near to perfect phone for daily drive. I hope Samsung will not discontinue this phone for now since it would still compete new phones manufactured today. Superb!

.... And now you have Verizons Spyware. My GN4 has had this update in my face for weeks now. Ive heard and read this update contains Verizons corrupt Spyware for tracking your habits. They blatantly came out and said they were doing this. It's BS that they can do this to a device we paid for and own outright. Refuse, resist.

I only use it mostly for browsing, watching Youtube, screen mirroring, playing Clash Royale and occasionally for shooting pics and videos. Thanks for your advice.

With a mixture of, developer options, using frame rate increase, background process decrease, applied, plus power saving mode switched on, with or without, pausing the videos, they then use the back button to halt the current activity instead of using the home key , all to make the phones seem laggy. If you do the opposite in developer options put the 3 framerate settings fro 1.0x to 0.0x , then leave background processes at standard ( unless you want more battery instead of speed, in that case set it to 4.), leave power saving mode off ( unless you want battery instead of speed.) , and finally again, use the home button to pause, NOT the back button, remember DON'T USE THE BACK BUTTON TO CLOSE THE APP IF YOU WANT TO KEEP IT IN MEMORY USE THE HOME KEY.

                          Best Samsung Phone ever, period!

It´s receiving security updates sooner than even Galaxy S7 Edge.

It's great to see at least security update for my Galaxy Note 4. I think it's the best Samsung phone in overall package. It ticks all the boxes. Just the one thing it doesn't hold any app in background even with 3Gb memory.
