Only conclusion is that good dark shots aren't yet available for smartphones.

1 or 2?, 29 May 2017On OnePlus Twitter, most people seem to prefer #2. I think... moreYep, I like #1 too, less noise and more realistic colors. #2 looks like it went through post-processing.

2 minutes of post editing can achieve the same.

All these promises for great cameras..... Seriously, they had a great camera with the Galaxy S4 zoom and S5 zoom but instead, Samsung decided to use worse sensors with very unrealistic post processing for later phones.
What's funny is they're moving down to 12MP and producing worse images lol. All phones now officially produce water color images / oil painted images.
They need to stop using those small sensors with hardly "large pixels" and start using sensors like the Lumia 1020 and 808. Hopefully Nokia has a comeback soon.
Panasonic had a phone with a one inch sensor out, I wish they would come out with another and fix the post processing and add OIS, I would buy one right away.
For now, there's nothing better than my trust Sony Rx100 that fits in my pocket.
On a positive side lol, the phone is sounding to be a good one.

"2" may be for Dual Camera...!
As we can see from the above picture, the image "1" has a lot more noise than the image "2". So by naming them 1 & 2, may be OnePlus is giving us a hint of a dual camera setup in its upcoming OP5, i.e. that is a normal RGB sensor & a secondary monochrome sensor. As this setup presumably capture images with less noise in low light. Just as the image "2" indicates...😀

Man. this phone is shaping up to be very good.
They need to tell us the price or release date at least!!
Or customers will go elsewhere.

@ Pramod, 29 May 2017Could you please explain how #2 is better?Hmmm...
To my opinion 2 looks like fresh copy of a picture and 1 looks like a lot of dust got settled on to that photo copy. You are free to choose your favourite.

I think #1 is far better, better colours and far less noise.

Yes , sample 1 is from one plus 3T as
1. It makes perfect sense (to show improvement)
2. OP3T night mode pictures are good in sharpness and details to but they lose colours, contrast and dynamic range. In 2nd sample all these three things have been improved.
I think one plus 5 camera will be one of the best this year as One plus 3T has already a very capable camera and in sample it looks much inferior to 5's click.
