That's in comparison with the currently available seventh generation chips.

Anonymous, 30 May 2017Why are there so many AMD fanboys? I know, because andro... moreMediatek is crap and yes Apple has the fastest mobile processor, at least in single core tasks. But AMD processors perform as good as Intel ones at a lower price, some games are still not optimised for Ryzen's architecture, that the reason why we see a performance fluctuation between different games, but in an year, developers will catch up.

    Why are there so many AMD fanboys?

    I know, because android fanboys usually like big numbers like "octa core" and "5GHz clock speed" even if it performs worse in real life.

    Intel = Apple
    AMD = Mediatek

      I doubt Cannon lake will bring an overall 30% improvement in comparison with Kaby Lake, these are nothing more than lies because AMD scared them to death.

          OK!Sounds nice but will it be compatible with Z270 or at least Z170?

            I'm waiting for the price of i5 to drop, but after a few month doesn't change that much. I guess in a few month I'm building a ryzen system

              seems no 10nm cpu from intel in 2017. can delay the upgrade till 2018

                Absolutely welcome.
