YouTube for Android officially gets bottom navigation bar

I was about to comment on how bad YOUTUBE is bad on iOS because everything was at the bottom. Thank you Google for transferring the disease to Android.

I really like the new UI it is easier now to access to the playlists and subscribed channels, apart from that it looks almost the same.

LOL. They're porting the UI from iOS. The bottom navbar is easier for whatever reason. Don't tell me about back button on iPhone that placed in top-left corner. There's a swipe gesture for getting back there.

They should've still kept the swipe to navigate UI with the bottom bar. Not a big fan of the current implementation

I still can't search any video from a specific channel. There is only global search. Also, no option to see the most viewed video of a particular channel, like we have on the desktop.

myTube for Windows is the best YouTube client there is in my opinion. It has more features than what is available on Android.

That's good news, it's easier to navigate with important things at the bottom. Looking forward to the update. They are also developing a bottom navigation bar for Chrome, it can already be turned on in chrome://flags, but it's still a bit undeveloped. Still, I prefer to use a browser with ad blocking.
