Oh for godness sake. Another year goes by, another phone comes out without the 3.5mm jack. Get with the program, 3.5mm is on the way out. Using one port for everything is a good neat way of doing things. You'll also be able to charge wireless as well.

I mean, what is there to say here? It's a blatant Xiaomi Mix Mix rip-off that fails on so many fundamental levels it's breathtaking.
Just think about full-screen/landscape media playback and gaming on this phone. How is that going to work? Are they going to cut off the notification area so the front cam isn't in the frame? If so that will leave one side of the display with angular corners and the other with rounded. That's an aesthetic abomination. If they cut off the on-screen button area to match then you're functionally losing .6" of display... HUH??!!
The only other option is to allow the entire display to be used, which means matching rounded corners and a bigger viewing area, but with the front cam annoyingly in that viewing area. I don't know about anyone else, but sounds like the design oversight of the decade, all powered by a whopping 3040mAh.
I reserved the phone anyway. I figure I can sell it on eBay for a profit to one the millions of sheeple that prefer looks over function.

Losing the head phone jack is a bad thing. Having to share the power point and head phone is a step down in my case.
Yes you might have better audio quality from the usb connection but it mean you can use a power bank and listen to music or news or make calls or emergency calls.
Fast charging doesn't help when your have to make that call and your battery out
