Hi all,
After doing a little bit of digging in finding the reason for draining the battery after the 7.0 update, I realized that VoLTE setting (when you pull down the quick settings bar) is enabled by default which I believe one of the reasons why the battery was draining. now that I disabled it, it will make a huge impact on the battery life.
Hope this helps all the folks who might be wondering about the battery drain after the update.

Updates My Note 5 International version (New Zealand) 2 days ago and was so excited for the Nougat update after a long wait. But after using it for a couple of days I'm experiencing significant battery life drop with the new update. I wish if there is a way to downgrade to the previous version.
Donno if others are experiencing the same issue after the update. I had no trouble with the battery life before the update and now its bit of disappointing.
Just wanted to give a heads up for the guys who are eager for the update.

Got the Nougat update. Good and bad changes. Most impact for me was losing ALL data in the My Knox side of phone without warning (But I have a backup beyond reach of Samsung!). The other significant impact is the slowing down of Fast Charge from one hour down to nearly 90mins to achieve full charge.
But the plus are many too: better design, uses less memory, more controls available especially in the Display.

So tell me what's the new features did Sony provides for the Z5 family considering the Z5 premium was launched two months later than the Note 5? Speedy but a futile update I should reiterate!

Sorry but I'm confused. The Note 5 was never officially released in Europe to the best of my knowledge? It is certainly not available in the UK. Also got to say rolling 7.0.x 6+ months after 7.1.0 is hardly a great achievement really.
