what i want with windows mobile os is installing apps/games directly to your sd without touching any internal storage. what i do not like with android is even if you will install/transfer your apps/games to your sd still eats your internal storage. on ios i dont see any problem for me maybe it is not open like android/windows that you could download apk/xap apps for the phone. about taking/capture moments i will just use my 3 dslr to capture rich/natural images.

AnonD-535480, 31 May 2017Wasn't this the same jokers who predicted that windows mobi... moreExcept for the fact that Microsoft thought because it made Operating System for PC and Laptops it could easily do the same with phones and treating Nokia staff the same

The Lumia 950 is a great phone except Windows 10 simply was unready and not tested in December 2015, still now problems are being introduced in each corrective update, so whilst Windows 8 was setting new records with sales, Windows 10 changed all that
Microsoft have essentially stopped all phone production because having Windows 10 running made any phone running it 'useless'

By 2020 we will see 5G roll out and 2G service switched off, none smartphone users will be forced to upgrade

There should be another spike if there is large number of these ownership
so like there was a spike 3G to 4G this should happen again 4G to 5G

            what about Siemens?

With the increase of VR and AR technologies and smartphones getting more powerful and powerful, and more efficient at the same time, I won't be surprised if this comes out true.

Who knows, more companies are rising up again.
HTC, Nokia, and Sony are starting to comeback, and OnePlus & LG are starting to step up their game even further.
Samsung, Apple, and the popular Chinese OEMs are always the trendsetters, which could lead people to get more addicted to smartphones.
And there goes the announcement of Essential smartphones that could eventually change something in smartphones.

                blah blah blah....

2021 is so far to predict something they dont know! who knows Tizen revamp from the ashes and be bigger than Apple marketshare?! (i read somewhere sammy are trying to make Tizen the next big thing...but i dont belive, just saying).~

meanwile some new tech company's will born and a new OS maybe is in the works, for my experience with Android the system has nothing new to offer and now every new version is all about the same...

                - i dont talk about iOS because i dont use, i dont like...whatever, is a idiotOS in all ways...

Wasn't this the same jokers who predicted that windows mobile would top/surpassed iOS marketshare by 2015? Why are they still in business? It must be nice to make bold predictions when you have noting on the lose if you are wrong. I want a job like that, if I were wrong as many times as those guys, I would have long been fired.

and suddenly, surface phone come and messed the os market predictions

Interesting, but at the same time quite obvious, you must be living in the caves or in another planet to don't know these things. Obviously, apart for the numbers/ figures, etc, of how much they'll be shipped, etc, in that date and in the other (because for those you need some background surveys, official records, etc ). But after all, all the numbers, percentages, etc. Are primarily "just" predictions. So everyone (obviously with some knowledge in the field/s) can go really near the real numbers. But having said that, obviously it's a good news, because in this/that way the bar of technology will be always raised even much higher!

Next trend of calculating market share will chinese and non chinese oems
