It can be smooth but it... moreI always saw the Samsung about few months starting glitches slow and lag from beside my users, why Samsung still want build the UI with flashy animated? And the Samsung update is more heavy due to it fancy features.
I found Sony UI is very simple, user direct get what they want even few years later it still don't feel lag glitches or slow down, the fast feeling still there, maybe a little slow but nothing strong feeling.

The same goes to iPhone. But the same story will happen in their page. Don't you dare ever tell them that an iPhone can and will have a little lag somewhere. And it definitely has bugs and glitches like every other bit of tech in the world.
You all need to grow up and accept reality
