So much with the overhyped, useless and gimmicky bloat & hardware. As expected, Samsung is a gimmick and copycat company after all.

Bixby will be fine as it signals the parting shot from Google and that annoying Google Now .Samsung isnt gonna bend over like LG,Huawei,HTC,ZTE and Motorola or Sony as they have more control over their handsets and ecosystem,after all, Sasmung is ANDROID and vice versa. Haters can kick rocks as Samsung kicks but with the best handsets on the market in the #S8andS8Plus and the coming of the Note 8 ,Note Fold and Gear 4

I'd be less annoyed about this if we didnt have that annoying bixby button. I accidentally press it SO often! If its so delayed for the US english, Australian English will never arrive. Definitely an afterthought fot them. They'd have better luck adding an official way to remap the bixby button. Really think this is what they will do and just give up on bixby.

I think Samsung does a good job of having own AI Bixby. The reason for Samsung wants its own AI Bixby is to have more control over its own smartphones. If Samsung had forgotten to create own AI Bixby, or gone for Google AI alone, Samaung has no control over Google AI, and Samaung has long more products than Google has. Samsung wants AI Bixby to operate more products than smartphone. I do not think Bixby struggles to learn English. What I think the problem is Samsung will not fail, after Samsung has made hype Bixby is so good, better than the AI exists now. Regarding the Bixby button many do not like. I do not think Samsung had any choice to create its own button for AI Bixby. As I think Google is investing a lot on its own AI, it's a good opportunity Google did not allow Samsung to use the home button for Bixby, Samsung had no choice but to create its own button for AI. It is Google who owns Android not Samsung, Bixby for Android can be test before Samsung for later Android ten own Tizen I think. Samsung plans to charge Android a day, who knows ?. It's ONLY Samsung who knows when.

Bixby is still taking baby steps, I guess that's why it's called Bix-by. Don't worry, it will soon evolve into Bix-boy, Bix-teen and then Bix-man! :P

Does anyone here know what is the use of the curved edges in Galaxy S8 when it doesn't work and it doesn't function in any way when you put your finger on those parts maybe makes it more beautiful but more prone to crack please somebody answer me

Just tell us which language the Bixby understand so we will go and learn it because we have already paid for the Bixby and the battery drains for it so I'd rather jet to the classes to learn the language

Because Samsung just cannot resist making duplicate apps for everything. They could've made much better use of their time and resources by placing the fingerprint scanner in a much better and more accessible position. But they just had to make such a redundant voice assistant with a corny name.

Samsung is the biggest gimmick producer is the world. Bixby is the biggest gimmick released in human mankind, and I crown it "the joke of the year".
The app can't be uninstall and the bixby button can't be remapped either and yet this app runs in the background wasting precious battery life. What a fool.
Let alone the curve screen which serves no real purpose other than better looks that some of its fanboy claims.
I will rather buy a HTC U11 or OnePlus 5 with no nonsense software than wasting 800 bucks on a worthless piece of garbage.

Well, so it needs to go to some English private lessons and the teacher must be really strict, so it will learn faster. Jokes aside, yes I definitely agree, Samsung must really work hard as possible on Bixby. Mostly not just because they extremely overhyped it, but primarily because of the exclusively dedicated button. Eventually, hopefully it will be completely finalized (until then) for the Note 8, or better just Google now/ assistant.

no need for the bixby. it's not a voice input assistant app. it works like an organizer app, repack functions of those long already available organizer apps. alarms, schedule, reminders, weather, etc. the photo search feature is useless. searched out something useless always.

S8 users do not worry just use google assistant it is alot better and remap bixby button to anything you like

Why we should trust this company to deliver a good English on their voice assistant? knowing the fact that most of Koreans go to different country to learn good English example of that is Philippines . they are not capable of using correct English period what a ashamed such a pricy gadget that turn into garbage.
