All I am saying is the Nokia 9 better have two screen size options other than the rumored 5.3" screen. It will make a lotta lotta sense to have a slim bezeled 5.7" screen of 16:9AR. I saw a beautiful concept of a Nokia on concept-phones today...that baby looks oh so so yummy. That's one hell of a design perfection..even tho not really a fan of curves, but this look well done.

YIKES! Attention fellow commentators: please be less contentious and more positive! If BlackBerry can turn things around, why not Nokia?

I bet the one for the Asian market will cost the same as the NA/SA market version.

johnwick, 03 Jun 2017are the people on those countries can afford this overprice... moreYou're missing the point, it's the brand itself, not only the price to measure. Even though the present lineups of nokia just goes fine in low-mid market and just similar to other manufacturers. Unlike these mobile "geeks", people wouldn't care so much for spec:price ratio, that's why the nokia branding kicks in, they will still buy it nonethess. And if you say will they be able to buy it, which one do you call overpriced? They have lineups of feature phones and an entry level nokia 3 for the preferred market spectrum.

I'm laughing ironically wherever I gaze my eyes through comments of nokia related articles.

So many smart tech smugs who apparently had done so many researches to justify a company and a brand not in any sense but only with peferred experience and knowledge, here's a tip people, go study economic and do a proper deep research about present time nokia/hmd.

No matter how much you people try to "cure" those fanboys as you might call, it change nothing, your view will never discredit the value of this brand in this world, you wouldn't believe how valuable nokia brand is around the world, not only in your home country. People doesn't care about inovations or whatever, they just want a phone that works well and sustain at best, and nokia fulfilled that need for a decade, people buys nokia for it is nokia and they trusted it. Go on live in Africa, southeast Asia, india, china, or those 3rd world countries you people might never heard of, nokia is the remarkable friend of people there.

                Please, get a life.

Nokia's flagship N9 is releasing with a 13 megapixel main camera...??!! Normally Nokia beats the competition in resolution releasing nothing less than 20 MP main cam's - with considerably or at least slightly bigger than average sensors. If Nokia releases this phone with the camera specs being mentioned here - it will practically be dead on arrival....... PureView or not... nothing will save it.

I liked Nokia a lot back in the Symbian days, but they missed to get on the real smartphone train, and thats why they are where they are at the moment. The 3310 reboot is a marketing gag and the phones so far are decent phones for their prices, but nothing outstanding. as long as there is no real Nokia 9 i am skeptical if HMD Global will make it with the Nokia brand... Thats all Nokia is now unfortunately... a purchased brand name like Motorola is for Lenovo...

They sticked with a standard, boring design with the Nokia 5 and 6. They built in a trashy Chipset in the Nokia 5 and 6. They released the overpriced Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. What are you trying to say, huh ? That they were good some years ago ? You know what ? That does not matter. Times change and Nokia will never reach the top of the smartphone market...you probably know that yourself.
And do not even start with "Yeah the Nokia 9 will destroy everything". Hell no. It won't. Fanboys will overhype it again. That will bring in some sales but it won't justify the phone. Mark my words.

Do you know what is smartphone? Do you know that smartphones was produced long before Apple and Android to step up into the market?
Did you ever heard about Symbian? Do you know what was capable NOKIA 8 in 2010 and was was the functionality of iOS and Google in that time?
Nokia 8 was with 12mp camera, was able to attach bluetooth keyboard and mouse and connect to monitor or tv via micro HDMI port, that was build in. It was almost functional pc, ofcourse limited to the hardware capabilities in 2010.
It was a phone with OS capable to read/send multiple e-mail accounts, had office apps, browser, the best camera for that time. Also had FM transmitter, to listen music in your car, NOKIA maps was unbeatable even by google etc, etc.
So read first, understand, then start writing if you have what to say.
