AnonD-664474, 02 Jun 2017Remove the headphone jack and I'll happily get the Honor 8 ... moreI'm curious as to just how much better than it will be than my Honor 8. I'll be tempted to get it and get rid of my 8 if it is spec wise worth it. Heck to be honest I just want the latest and greatest so I'm sure I'll eventually cave although I'm on my second honor 8 which I just got a week ago. It'll be tempting to not pick one up as I've read their price point to be below $400. I know the screen resolution will be the same and the processor so they are going to have to really amp up some specs elsewhere it seems. I just use the thinnest case I can find and most times i don't even use a case but I do have a skin on mine which gives it grip bc otherwise, the glass back is as slippery as butter. No doubt without a skin it's a definite drop coming. Anyways I know I will want one so I'll try and hold off as long as possible. I love my Honor 8 especially being on my second one with this one being the 64g as opposed to my first 32g. Great software EMUI which is not in any way Android by the way. In fact it could easily be branded the third mobile software choice in the industry. It's just that different than stock Android and I love it.

                  glass, glass everywhere.
                  Bought an s8+
dropped it from 30cm the first day. Spider cracking everywhere. Ruined the phone.
There's something to be said about NOT covering your phone in very fragile glass. Or perhaps they do it on purpose.

So is not a metal body then, just the frame.

Ohh and probably without the 3.5mm jack as well, ...

Remove the headphone jack and I'll happily get the Honor 8 Pro instead.

I'd kill them if they remove the headphone jack and not add an IP Rating that is easily found on Samsung's Galaxy A 2017 series (that cost way cheaper than this upcoming device).
