Seeing this is Apple products we r talking about, infamous with its scandal (antennagate, bendgate, etc), I won't be surprised if that "metal frame" was actually a "recycle" of last year Aluminium 6000 series.
It's not Apple if they can't turn leftover scrap into something "new", advertised it as "innovation" for a good penny, right?
