Have fun going through airport security. When I flew with Qatar Airways, the Note 7 was banned.

    .this Note7 is already their failure.. it will never be ok.

      I'd seriously consider buying it, but the potential lack of spare parts won't let me.

          Well, if it will be launched globally around July 7, there'll be some time (for those interested to buy it) before the Note 8.

Bare in mind that only 450k units are up for sale and in case you ran into a problem you will probably have to wait a while before you find a spare part or, worst case, you'll have to give up your device in favor of a newer device still in production. Consider each option before you make your decision. Best of luck!

Actually not sure how it can demand so much higher price. The only other significant differences would appear to be water proofness and a little more builtin storage for apps (which I don't care about). But the A series is for business people with expenses paid, right?

                          I'm considering a J7(2017) and my only reason for looking at the Note7R is its better camera and the discounted price. But wondering if it is EU580-340=240 much better.

                            Surely the EU must have requirements similar to those of the US concerning use of shared spectrum to not step on each other. But it would appear that the EU does not have an agency like the USes FCC. Is the EU getting/buying that service from the FCC as part of the EUs CE certification?

Because there are chances Europeans go one day in the US with their phones and use them to pass a call or use Google Maps when lost in New York, European devices have to g9 through it.

                                      I thought it would be Note FE.
