Samsung Galaxy Note8 could be unveiled in August, ahead of IFA

Twice the battery life (you can carry a spare), zero charge time (you swap), IR, same screen , same CPU (they exnyos variant anyway), same pen/was com features, similar camera(s), micro SD.

          Note 5 was the biggest downgrade in the history of phones. Monumental step back in everything (apart from GPU)... Peace

          Only thing where Note 5 wins by a good margin is the GPU ... BT who cares? Really? Only a tiny minority plays way too demanding games on android . Even there you can lower the phone's resolution...

              Back mounted fingerprint scanner is fine. Dual cam is also fine even though it isn't necessary. What is necessary is that the note 8 doesnt repeat the note 7 disaster. It's been nearly a year since then. That's plenty enough time to perfect their quality processing.

                First of all, haha compliments to the GSMArena team for the image matching, nice one. (rumoured) August launch, so = Augustus Caesar. History and matching aside, regarding the Note 8. Well, okay we know the battle field between Samsung and Apple, and the timing is crucial for which will have the slightly advantage for extra profits, etc. But despite all that, I still think it will be better for Samsung to take the right time required. Not just because after what happened (the fiasco), but to finally really have a better product than a rushed one. For example, regarding the (rumored lack of the) sub-screen fingerprint reader, etc. And if so? Customers, fans, etc, will appreciate even more. Plus, that if Samsung will take a little bit more time, and eventually will offer a better Note 8 (with the fingerprint embedded under the display, etc), it will give more reasons to customers for buying it, even those who already bought the S8 (duo), will have more good reasons to upgrade, etc.

                    I really like to see in screen fingerprint sensor! No option for samsung but to bring that techno to compete other and their biggest competitor Apple Iphone! Just do it samsung.

                        Hey Samsung, do that so that prices of the Note 7r will fall fast!
