The one which was in Motorola phone long before iPhone and some laptops. It required swiping due to the fact it was inaccurate and needed more data to process than touch id. Place that anywhere and you still needed to swipe. Irrespective of the screen

Well, first I wanted for the S8 (duo) & then eventually for the Note 8 and so on. But after what we all know (that not just the lack of the screen embedded fingerprint tech. But not even just ordinary, I mean back centered). Then I focused all my hopes for the Note 8, and despite that now we heard the negative (rumor, leak, etc) news, I'm still hoping that finally it will turn out to be incorrect. But at least, I will be happy anyway if it will be Vivo the world's first to sporting/ introduce/ launching it first. Because finally after all (okay I have some more sympathies/ soft spot for a brand & another, & it's quite clear) I'm not a fan boy of a brand or another, but primarily a fan of the holistic technology. Because the most important overall is that we (enthusiasts, humans, etc) always keep raising the bar of all the holistic technology.

Okay, lots of complaints right now due to the galaxy s5 "having this type of fingerprint reading, but since I'm 97% positive that none of you have or had a galaxy s5, galaxy alpha or note 4 (those phones also had that type of fingerprinting), I am here to explain everything. My friend had a note 4 so I saw this from my own eyes. So, the fingerprint scanner did have it on the home button, but you couldn't just touch or press the button, you had to slide your finger on some part of the screen. When my friend first tried it, he was clicking the button and the tutorial showed the finger going like one or two inches above the screen, then the finger would slide down and that's how it would read your fingerprint. Sure, it isn't full on screen reading fingerprints, but the scanner required you to use the screen.
