With the UC browser on my Nokia 5800, which runs on an ARM11 434 MHz processor, downloads webpages very fastly and with Opera Mobile, scrolling is very smooth. It's really sad when people only rely on the specs and believe in what haters have said. And yes, the Symbian default browser still sucks, but you're not stuck with it! Tell me, where have you tested the updated Symbian browser, when the update isn't even available yet.

the browser just plain sucks, ill admit
im using opera which is better than stock android browser
other than the stock browser, i see no lag.
that's the beauty of smartphones. look at windows internet explorer. it's rubbish, but that doesnt mean windows are bad

Galaxy S? I'm actually talking about all devices being released with 1GHz+ CPUs. They all seem to load everything faster than N8 + E7 put together. I did try the web browser on N8 with the new update. It is VERY SLOW.

WOW...haha...Trust me..If OS not good enough + boring + old fashion, it's totally pointless eventhough it smoother than others..You said you using N8, I never doubt that, cause I use to be Nokia N97 user until I totally gave up and give it to my mum who doesn't know anything about smartphone and start using the REAL SMARTPHONE (Android) And I believe I'm not the only one who jump out from Nokia..

picture reminds me of the pre-auto focus era and when 1.3 megapixels were conciderd a lot. they need to improve the overall picture quality, add xenon flash, and also ditch the qwerty unless the unit will be compact like the x10 minis.

ALL THE POSTING RULES . . . .can i use the word crap ? well thats the word i use for all android and apple phones. Like all comments previously posted before me, all phone manufacturers have completely forgotten (in their quest to reap all the $$$ fr innocent consumers !) that the best phone is still one that can make & receive calls effeciently & clearly, one that can assist the user to sms out (one hand sms is always faster than the QWERTY) at "high speed".
