As for the supposed screen issue, I haven't experienced it and knowing I can get it fixed by my provider I even tried to make it happen. That issue is being blown way out of proportion by people like you who don't even own the phone.

Less glass makes it less rigid as well. TCL has responded and said they'll add more adhesive and asked their customers to contact them should they need a warranty.

Bloody good phone. Is really just a decent android device with a great camera, epic battery life and heaps of extra productivity features not available on other devices. 53 programmable homescreen shortcuts that can skip 2-4 steps within an app to perform your most repetitive tasks with only the press of a button.
Loving mine. Is robust, bounces better than any all touch. Am hoping my screen pops toward the end of the warranty period so that I get a new one for free.

As a cost saving move, BlackBerry shut down all of its support forums earlier this year and hired CBK. They basically outsourced all support to Crackberry because they want to pretend like there is a strong "community" and to make this as "grassroots" as possible.
With the design flaws causing BlackBerry bendgate (the second such instance in 3 years), TCL/BlackBerry is in damage control mode. So of course they are now releasing these shill videos since its cheaper than actually fixing the problem.
CrackBerry Kevin is on TCL's payroll. Fact. Screens popping out are a known issue going back to the demo units. Kevin initially denied it was an issue, and denied that anybody showed him defect at the staged "Crackberry Meetups". Now they are deleting posts that claim this was known for a while.

Well, for those who prefer the hard keyboard, it's quite good. But there's that issue of the display, not solidly fitted.

JohnSmart, 16 Jun 2017If you take a phone and try and bend it in un-natural ways ... more1) It's not just bending the device. The screens are falling off under normal use by people who haven't seen any "bending" video.
2) You probably made fun of iPhone 6 for this.
3) This is an issue with the design of the KEYone that glue will not fix. This exact same issue happened with the original BlackBerry Passport, which is why the Passport SE was released a year later. Then the issue started happening with the SE as well. Any google search for "Passport screen lift" will tell you this.
Since KEYone was designed as a Passport replacement, it should surprise nobody that it is having the same build quality issues. This was entirely a BlackBerry designed device; TCL only jumped into the manufacturing process very late in the game (December 2016 was when the deal was announced; KEYone in development since 2014).
The problem is that this phone design was meant for thicker phones with a recessed screen, where the frame could hold the screen down. BlackBerry made phones that were too BIG which would have been great if the ratio of screen to body thickness remained as it was on the BlackBerry Q10 (or 9900 which is where this design stems). But BlackBerry made the screen BIGGER while also chasing thinness, which created an imbalanced phone. THEN, when moving to Foxconn for manufacturing in 2014, they replaced screws and plastic clips with 3M adhesive tape and glue to hold the devices together, which meant even lower quality phones. That's where the original Passport screens started popping out.
This design was never meant to be extrapolated to a device this big, and certainly not when you consider the lower quality of materials now being used. This is entirely a design flaw that glue will not fix. BlackBerry has precedence for screen lift on devices like this, and three years later it is happening again.
BlackBerry apologists at this stage are in denial.
You can Google anything I said to verify. Start with "Passport screen lift" and go from there.

Also, the company TCL has addressed the issue and has added more adhesive to the device so that idiots that try to bend their phone in half won't have these issues....So, go ahead and bend your phone in half smart guy.
