You can now grab Sprint's LG G6 for the insanely low amount of $120

16 June 2017
To achieve this impossible feat, you do however need to use the carrier's installment plan and pay $5 per month for two years.

I much prefer the colours of G5's photos and of course its features (FM radio, IR, useful aspect ratio, removable battery)

According to Sprint via phone to sells dept. There is no such sell. I was told Sat. 6/17/17, that you have to pay taxes up front and $30 a month per phone. We are really wanting this phone..

The G6 isn't a particularly popular phone, and Sprint is known for signal strength issues, so I'm not much surprised about this flash sale.

Even if you get the phone for free, the carrier's data plans are exorbitant. An average user only uses a fraction of it's data, either way it's a win win situation for carriers everywhere.

Anonymous, 17 Jun 2017S7 Edge is about 50% faster in multi core (geekbench), much... moreThese are lies, the S7 Edge in USA has the Snapdragon 820 processor, while the G6 has Snapdragon 821. If you look at Geekbench scores, the S7 Edge S820 has a lower score compared to the G6. And if you look at the S7 Edge/S820 battery life tests, they are very similar to the G6, while the scores with AOD on are better for the G6 (despite having a TFT screen !). On the other hand, both the Exynos and S820 S7 Edge loses in all graphics and gaming tests compared to the G6.

Are you saying that the USA people got a mindrange S7 Edge while the others got a "high end" one ?

                      Hilarious...:)

Deals like these are just a clear indication that cell phone plans are way overpriced in the US. Believe it or not, carriers still try to make some money on every one of their customers.

The total price of the LG G6 at Sprint including 2 years of service at their cheapest plan (2 GB of data for 40 USD per month) is 1080 USD (45 USD * 24).

A similar cell phone plan in my country in Europe is just 11 USD per month. So the total price of the LG G6 + phone plan for 2 years at a local carrier here is: 580 USD upfront + 270 USD for the phone plan which is just 850 USD total, still 230 USD below the "insanely low amount" requested by Sprint.

Not a bad deal at all. But anyone in the states knows, Sprint is at the bottom of the "Big Four". With the progression of best to worst (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint). Not to mention that despite carrying the "flagship" title, LG has already said it's really pulling out all the stops for the V series, and not the G series. While the G6 is a solid device, I've heard reports that it's lacking in areas like the camera, which is more or less a recycled variant of the dual camera setup on the G5.
