Careful! Anyone cared to read the fine print of the terms and conditions of this trade-in program?

Under point 7: " Trade-in value is based on the particular model device you select as your Trade-In Device as well as which device you are purchasing. Additionally, if you are purchasing an unlocked device, trade-in values will vary. Please refer to our website for the most up to date information on eligible devices and Trade-in value."
Anyone please try to find this info on their website!?!
Meaning if you send your old dusty cell from 2014 you get???

So, this $200 discount is really an "up to $200" discount for an unlocked phone. How much discount you actually get is determined solely by Samsung AFTER you shipped in your device which renders it lost for ever.

I email Samsung to inquire about the trade in value of my old phone as I didn't want to wait 30+minutes in line to talk to a sales rep.

I ordered Galaxy S8 and chose the trade in option of "any smartphone", but it is misleading because the fine print says any iOS or Android device. I have Blackberry z10 and had to cancel the order. Also I do have Moto X 2013 which would be good for a trade in, but this phone has few hairline cracks along the sides of back cover. It was manufacturer's defect and many users experienced that issue, but I don't think Samsung will accept my phone.

I think Samsung Indonesia offers the best trade-in value.
          My note 5 was priced around US$ 368 for S8 trade-in.

This is a steal. I really hope they do this with the Note 8.

              Ohh quite good.
