      +1

I would seriously consider buying this S8 active if:
+ this was available (standalone, free of carriers bloatware) in Europe,
      + with the new 4G band 28,
+ with the front mounted fingerprint scanner

I will not import one, because of lack of warranty and problem with google play store download (this was apparently an issue on imported s7 active).

I don't think it will look like that. It will probably still have buttons or out wouldn't make much sense as an active

Active looks a lot better than the original S8, because the curved edges are pointless and extremely ugly with massive glare/reflections and they are unnecessary fragile!

Better, for all those waiting for it.

Come on and release it outside the US like for the S5 Active.

i hope the Samsung DeX can extend support to a dumb laptop/tablet with detachable keyboard.
I hope i can use all S8 power everywhere..

Dipungal, 20 Jun 2017The LG G6 Killer? Watchathink? Nah, the LG G6 is a different thing entirely.

I'm curious as to how "protective" this S8 Active will be.
The S8 and S8+ are one of the, if not, the most fragile phones I have experienced.
So either the Active won't really improve it much... or it will have to become much bulkier to actually have an effect on its impact/shock resistance.

Dipungal, 20 Jun 2017The LG G6 Killer? Watchathink? SD835 or exynos equivalent vs SD 821.
Water, dust, shock proofing vs water, dust resistance

Not quite the same segment in spec, LG gets that and tried to price theirs lower than S8 standard or Active.

Should be lesser the cost than the edge screen panel. Right?
