This is good news. I've used Blackberry, Samsung Note, and Apple. Among all these I think Blackberry Passport is the best phone I've ever used. Before end of 2016, I tried to switch from Passport to Blackberry Priv (on Android) purely because of Whatsapp. That didn't last long - the Android operating system is simply nowhere close to OS10 in many respects. As soon as I learned from a fellow Passport user whatsapp is still alive, I switched back to Passport early 2017. The Blackberry Hub/Blend is too powerful/efficient for work to give up! Currently I use Passport as primary phone, and Apple as secondary to access certain apps. In fact I just bought another new Passport as a backup - in case I can't buy a Passport in the near future...

Chintu bhai, 20 Jun 2017Is there anybody left, who still using Blackberry in 2017?!?... moreCan you define the "BlackBerry Myth"? When was the last time there's a documented mass hack on BB devices or a proven security leakage?
For all the talk about security and master key and all that, has the DOD security classification been changed? No, right? So there's no issue with security.
Some of us use BB Android (now that the BB10 platform is winding down / almost at it's end) for the added security and some other features it offers such as the hub. FYI, BB is the only Android vendor, other than Nexus line of devices, who offers critical monthly security updates on time.
I don't know if I would continue with BB since it's no longer designed and developed by BB itself (I admire their robust industrial design over fancy good looks).
But at the least, let's call it preference and learn to accept that everyone is different : )

why not extended for S60 only? everibody else got 6 more months, and S40 one year and a half!!!
What to blame on S60? I hope it will be extended soon like the others. I don't want to switch to S40 that is inferior to mine.

Chintu bhai, 20 Jun 2017Is there anybody left, who still using Blackberry in 2017?!?... moreNormally i don't respond to these msgs... however i think everyone has a preference of the type of phone they like there reasons are their own as such no one needs a mouth piece like you to dictate what they should or should not be using.. It's a phone for crying out loud, take several seats in the back and just chill. It ain't that serious ..

This is entirely for USG. We are still using WhatsApp on BB10 for UNCLASS encrypted communications. We have been moving everybody to the iPhone platform since 2015 (pretty much when BlackBerry fired their BB10 development team), but working without a budget makes procurement for all the different offices and departments difficult. The hope was full iOS by the end of FY2016, but delays in orders (along with one vendor sending us thousands of LOCKED phones) pushed our deadline back to the Summer.
Now that deadline will be missed as well, due to funding issues. So WhatsApp has agreed to push it back to the end of December to accommodate us.
We pay them a lot of money to develop WhatsApp, so it makes sense for them to cater to their largest customer.

Is there anybody left, who still using Blackberry in 2017?!?The Blackberry Myth is over, since a long, long time...No one needs their overpriced middle category phones.Their only advantages were the qwerty keyboard, and the Bb security. No one needs a phisical qwerty keyboard now,and their security has compromised too, when the CEO of the Blackberry handed over the Bb Masterkey in Canada for a crime investigation.
