Sammy is a disgrace when it comes to software updates. I simply don't understand how so many people defend this company, while in reality they all cry for updates.
This is the number one reason for going with Sony. They ALWAYS update their phones, even if it's an older model.

I dislike the update intensely...is there any way to go back to the way it was? My battery life is terrible now, as well as the responsiveness of the phone. I don't like anything about the update...I went to US Cell to see if they can help and they said there is nothing that can be done and that lots of customers are dis-satisfied. Why make an update that people dislike? I wish it was optional...I would have said no.

Yes I insist with my affirmation! Just name me any old device they're supporting just like Samsung.

S6 Edge always had battery drain issue. Sad but true. Not to forget the hairline scratches that came on 20% of itz phones..

Can't complain about the S6. Still a great phone, running the newest Android, regular updates. Moved from Sony, could not be happier.

                                Better at least.
