I would like to know when you will leave on Gearbest so that other countries can make this device available.

Without a flagship worthy screen, camera and design, it's a mid range phone with just a high end chipset to show off... And who needs 8gb RAM in a phone? They could have put a better screen, design and camera and waterproofing also in 6GB version and priced it at 8gb models' price. Then it would have been a flagship killer or just a flagship.

warning to all!!!: 1st off the camera on this device is NOT what it was described as. unless the lighting is absolutely perfect, the pictures are FULL of noise and grain. i purchased this device with $40 worth of accessories. it was shipped to me 2 days LATE also. i went to return it and One Plus REFUSED to return/refund my accessories because i opened them.

if you want to try this phone out and dont care about the camera quality go for it...but you have been warned. also, if you are at all curious - DONT buy anything with it. because you won't get your money back

At that price not viable in Canada. Rather buy it in the US and sell it in Canada.

This can't even kill the last year s7 edge flagship. Everyone is complaing about touchwiz but that rom is full of features, and it's even cheaper now, the only ugly thing about samsung is the front facing camera, its totally crap. Best phone for selfies are the iphones, value for the money always go to xiaomi.

vrvly, 27 Jun 2017Actually the way it came naming itself as flagship killer, ... moreAre you talking about S8 and G6 and then add 500 vs 1000 euros difference in the same paragraph? You can find S8 and G6 for less than the OP 5 8Gb version and with mobile carriers for less than 450 euros. Plus the offers of Samsung to take your old phone. At least you are talking about an unlocked iPhone 7 plus 256 Gb or Huawei Mate 9 Porsche... that argument is invalid today.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 27 Jun 2017Nope, not anymore. In the name of "Flagship Killer", it has... moreActually the way it came naming itself as flagship killer, it was like offering same features for less money. Even now it lags behind S8 or G6 in design, or features, but it finally offers some things what competition does not, good to see. There is also difference in 500 vs. 1000euro in price, if they will come with more original features in hw or sw, or offer more products like gears, they will be tough competitor.

My Xiaomi Mi4c will destroy this

[deleted post]Nope, not anymore. In the name of "Flagship Killer", it has now become an "Ordinary Flagship". No more standout features to hold the "Flagship Killer" crown anymore

bob, 27 Jun 2017"Cheaper than usual"? Ever heard of the Xiaomi mi 6?Yeah. But trust me. I am not a fan of OnePlus. I rather get Xiaomi or other flagship phones eveb though they are expensive I am fine with it. Im just saying it is only a good price for its processor and ram. Totally not impressed with the camera battery and display.

OP5 for 500 is a very competitive when compared to other 2017 releases. (honor has jumped from 400 to 500 as well, galaxies jumped from 750 to 830)

The problem is that you can get 2016 flagships for just under 300. If you're not going for a thousand dollar flagship, I think "settling" for a 2016 one might be better option than dishing out 500 for OP5.
