Beast of the beasts, I wonder when android will catch up, cause there is no single chip which can beat even iPhone 6s in single core, which is kind of embarrasing

However Apple's GPUs are slow. The A9x is rated at 350 gigaflops. The SD 820 is rated at 498 gigaflops. The SD 821 is slightly faster and rated at 519 gigaflops. The SD 835 is rated at 567 gigaflops. Now the A10 fusion is rated at 250 gigaflops, or half the speed of a SD 820. Nevermind a SD 835. The A9x is rated at 345 gigaflops which is still not as fast as the SD 820.

Mobile SoC use RISC, while PC-grade microprocessors use CISC,
that FACT alone made ur statement INVALID, as no matter how POWERFUL & how HIGH THE BENCHMARK SCORE mobile SoC gets, they can't even run desktop-grade OS, let alone apps like video/image editor, music maker, and other CPU-hogging apps...
(the only SoC I know capable of running desktop-grade OS (Win7) as Intel Atom used in Asus Zenfone 2, BUT only booting, no desktop-grade apps can run on it)
THIS is the reason WHY MICROSOFT CAN'T DO ANYTHING to keep its WP alive, as the only solution, importing Windows-compatible apps to WP, is IMPOSSIBLE, as mobile SoC are not designed for heavy computing which massive power supply is a must.
So, Yes, Apple's processors are great... IN BENCHMARKS ONLY, FOR BRAGGING PURPOSES
FYI, up to A9X, apple don't have solution for their processors' battery-hogging problem, so they resorted to "pseudo quad-core" and advertised is as "Quad-core", a HUGE LIE as the two other cores are SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR BATTERY-SAVING PURPOSE ONLY,
so, still the same DUAL-CORE as A9, with little improvement.

A tablet is much bigger than a phone so can dissipate more heat. If you were to put this beast of a chipset in your tiny iPhone it would overheat and make the phone uncomfortably hot to hold. no. Just no. the benchmark is perfectly neutral toward all platforms. but do consider this. Apple relies on the single core for it's OS. while Android relies on the multicore. I myself am an Android user (and a proud SD835 powered device owner!) and as much that I'd like to think like you. Apple's cores are LITERALLY huge. (Compare the last gen's Twister core agains the latest Mongoose M2 core. you can easily see that the Twister is larger. and not to mention Hurricane core. it's MASSIVE!) AND THAT'S why the benchmark "favors" as you claim Apple. but at all honestly? it's neutral.
