AnonD-235211, 03 Jul 2017An update to Marshmallow? How many decades have I been scro... moreit has been just one year, keep in mind that this is a very small company compared to Sammy, lets say Shamesung NOTE4 was launched back in 2014 almost 4 years later they never fixed they reboot and battery issues, and their updates wasn't so fast 3 years just to stock over Marshmallow. BLU LIFE ONE X 2016 is a very good phone.

7 years later: Blu Grand X LTE, released in 2017 with Nougat, just got a security patch! It bumps the security level to the May 1st 2017 patch.

Just updated my Blu Life One X to Marshmallow a couple weeks ago. Most everything seems to work better than Lollipop except the front selfie cam which now displays a very dark onscreen image and takes grossly underexposed photos. And oh yeah, the Marshmallow update also automatically encrypts your phone, which makes it run a little more laggy than before the update.

This update was going to be released within 90 days of launch... ha, yeah. What's the point of releasing 6.0 when 8.0 is about to come out?

Personally, my L1X is going on the trash soon and I'll be buying a Zenfone... at least Asus has a decent track record with updates.

                        Better, for its respective owners.
