Flagship means the best right? Of course with the high price too which started from $800. They all put the best design for the best quality. For your country Germany maybe they can afford these flagship no matter its price. Here only the rich people or for prestige. But now we all here smarter to choose the specs, not the brand behind it, especially when the price is a half more cheaper than the famous brand has. After sales support is good too like samsung has. Mi5 is not bad too considering its price and its last year flagship Mi phone moreover if you compared the new one Mi6's benchmark test with s8 duo.

AnonD-661148, 03 Jul 2017In Indonesian market, samsung almost drown by the chinese p... moreactually the s8 is pretty good if you can live with TW, just because people in indonesia are way too poor to buy a real flagship android e.g. S8, XZP, U11 and apple I7 doesn't mean these are bad devices, good luck with vivo, oppo and all those wanna be OEMs outside of china with support, in china maybe you may actually receive some decent support but outside? no chance pal, most of these phones are just mid tier devices with the latest QSD chipset and tons of ram, which in most cases isn't even needed, I bought my dad a xiaomi mi5 and it was god awfull, laggy, slow, constant crashes and no support here in germany, rather buy an S8 and be safe, even Oneplus went downhill this time, nobody in the west likes cheap copies of the original, the op5 is rip off from the IPhone and that's just lazy and weak, ppl ask hey wow you when did you buy an Iphone 7 plus and then you answer no actually it's from china, called Oneplus, and they will laugh at you, and for good reasons dude haha

When they are going to drop price in INDIA?, current price is 999$ (65000) for S8+ 64GB version :'(
In US its just $750 for 128GB verison, i'd buy 128 without any hesitation.

In Indonesian market, samsung almost drown by the chinese phone like oppo, vivo and xiaomi. Only rich people here using flagship phone like s8 duo or iphone 7. But for people who know more knowledge about hardware and software, indonesian buy xiaomi. But for selfie, they more buy oppo and vivo. Mi fans in Indonesia have tagline, 'mending xiaomi' (better xiaomi).. 😙

Isn't this very obvious? They want iOS device, they don't want Android.
If you edit videos for example with Final cut and some other guy say you should use Sony vegas etc, he doesn't care! he likes how the Final cut works he likes the workflow and how the ui looks etc. So he keep using it and upgrade he's final cut.

Over in Singapore, the S8 Duo had been around US$600 and US$700 since one month ago. SD835 with Dual hybrid Sim slots. I believe HK would be even cheaper by a few tens as they do not have GST/VAT.
