04 July 2017
Samsung's digital assistant is still learning to speak, which impedes the speaker project.

Maybe Samsung should use this kind of design aesthetic for their Bixby speaker - I kinda like it.
Even if it does look a bit 'plug' like! :)

I bet less than 100k people over the world is using a damn Bixby outside Korea. Can't stop you making this speaker but make sure this to work with siri and Google assistant at least or it will be doa. I guess we all know what free stuff those Galaxy s9 buyers will be getting next year.

it looks like turret from the portal series.

What is absolutely 100% sure is, that if (& they do!) Samsung want to compete with/against all the tough competition, they definitely must work as hard as possible on Bixby, and if it could be more, so even more.

Gibby , 04 Jul 2017Haha. Filth! But funny :DI should have made it clear: the image is just a Samsung Bluetooth speaker with the Bixby logo slapped on. This one: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/samsung-samsung-radiant-360-r7-audio-bluetooth-wireless-speaker-wam-7500-zc/10386558.aspx

There's absolutely no info on what the Bixby speaker would look like.

That shape tho... It looks like something that GSMArena would totally not approve to be in their comment section.
It looks like some sort of plug, if you catch my drift. And is not the one for the wall socket.

                            Well - I'll say this
The hardware design, with the subtle shape of an old fashioned microphone is pretty cool compared to the competition.
As for Bixby - like the competition - it'll never compete with Google's Assistant. No one will ever catch up with their level of development in this field because they have the search engine algorithms way above and beyond everyone else & always will.
Hopefully, just like the dedicated Bixby button on the phones, this can be rooted to work with Google's Assistant - in an ideal world! ;)
